ASSESS was an independent user group for SPSS, a computer package for analysing and presenting data. The software is now part of IBM called IBM SPSS Statistics.

ASSESS will officially disband at the start of 2027, when this website will disappear. Please feel free to browse the site till then.

The group held annual conferences, courses and other events, mostly in the United Kingdom. However the group has enjoyed the company of many members from many countries over the years (the first ASSESS international conference was held in Amsterdam in 1988).

ASSESS was entirely independent of IBM SPSS Inc. and its subsidiaries, run by users, for users. Links to their pages on this website are provided entirely for the benefit of members of ASSESS.
